Bravo viewers, please sit down.
Jarrett “JT” Thomas has an announcement.
Ahead of Season 10 of Southern Charm starting on December 5th, the star released a statement confirming that she will not be appearing in any future episodes.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share that I have left Southern Charm,” JT wrote on Instagram late Friday, Nov. 8.
“Yesterday, I told Bravo that I would not be participating in the remaining 2-3 backstage interviews until the December 5th broadcast (I have participated in about 9 to date) and that I no longer wish to participate. I would like to move the TV program forward in some way.”
Shocking, right?
To be clear and specific, the latest season wrapped principal photography earlier this year. However, the cast is still filming a confessional where they look back on what happened.
The reality star, who only joined the program as a full-time cast member last year, hinted in her message that she was simply exhausted after filming.
Details were not disclosed.
“I’ll leave it at that,” JT wrote.
“I am working on the next steps to recover both physically and mentally from a very difficult and exhausting year.”
The press release for Season 10 of Southern Charm teases a “new era” as the main players celebrate “a decade of drinking and spilling sweet tea in Charleston’s social circles.”
“The Chalmers find themselves at the crossroads of familiar feuds and redefined boundaries,” the press release reads.
“Once Charleston’s most rowdy group, this group appears committed to business, family, and health, but avoids growing pains as the brokenness of their newfound life plans quickly surfaces. I can’t.”
In a preview released a few days ago, JT is seen flirting with co-star Venita Aspen, and also appears to be criticized by Craig Conover for calling show matriarch Patricia Altschul a “bitch.” .
This fling with Venita in the Season 10 teaser came a week before the Bravo personality debuted his new girlfriend, Ali Pererez, on social media.
“Long overdue,” he captioned a Nov. 3 montage post of photos of him looking loved up, adding the hashtag #it’s complicated.
