“Avatar: The Last Airbender” is about children. There is a romance in the show, but it is always a detail of the story’s support. Aang (Zach Tyler Eisen) is obsessed with Katara (Mae Whitman) and Sokka (Jack de Sena). It has something to do with the unhappy Mai (Cricket Lee).
The “Legend of Kora” is about young adults, those who still have romantic relationships and secular outlooks crystallized. Thus, “The Legendary Cora” explores a variety of political ideologies (the show is somehow groundbreakingly progressive, but feels good and conservative) and increases the immersion of romantic narratives.
In “The Legend of Cora” Book 1, Cora joins a team of “Provending” athletes along with two brothers, Firebender Mako (David Fautino) and Earthbender Bolin (PJ Byrne). Borin likes Kora (first time), but she turns to Mako. However, Mako is more reluctant to commit. While he flirts with Kora, he also begins to date Asagi (they meet when she accidentally crashes him on her bike). He eventually chooses Kora, but not Neat I’m breaking up with Asami.
In Book 2, Korra and Mako’s relationship hit the rock and disbands in episode 5, “Peacekeepers.” Then, in the next episode, “The Sting,” while Korra is away, Asami kisses Mako on the impulse, and it appears that they’ll come back together. after that Kora appears to have returned with amnesia and forget that she and Mako have broken up. And it turns out that Kora remembers breaking up. She pretended to avoid difficult conversations.
After that fatigue, most (but not all) Book 2 ended with permanent quibosch to “Makorra” and “Masami”.
When “The Last Airbender” aired, many fans shipped “Zutara.” In other words, he said he wanted Katara and Zuko to come together. That didn’t happen. The series concludes with Ang and Katara finally kissing, and “The Legend of Kora” confirmed that they were together (with their three children) until the end of Aan’s life.
Many say that the Mako and Kora pairing is good for Zutara fans, combining two widely similar characters (a girl bent awful water and a boy who sparked an angry fire). I’m guessing that. However, the sparks weren’t there, and it didn’t help that Mako is a rather bland character. It flattens when Kora and Mako declare they love each other in the season 1 finale, “Endgame.”
