New York City schools are officially on spring break, meaning my kids will have 12 days off school.
I don’t have any plans for Spring Break, just a few days at a lake house in Pennsylvania with some friends. Instead (like I said before), I’m pulling the kids out of school in May and taking them to Disney and Universal for a week. They have no idea what’s going to happen, but I know they’ll have a blast! Nate, in particular, is totally into Harry Potter and has been begging me to go. Hopefully, since it’s a holiday week, we’ll be able to avoid the usual crowds.
Kids trip aside, myself and some girlfriends are planning a trip to Europe in June. It’s last minute so not sure what will happen. The original plan was a girls trip to Paris but with the Olympics we decided to scrap that and pivot. Right now we’re debating between Spain and Portugal. I’ve only ever been to Barcelona but the other girls have never been to either.
