Watch: Steelers Fans Take Over Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium

3 Min Read

The Pittsburgh Steelers played the Las Vegas Raiders exactly one year ago, and Steelers Nation took over the stadium and had a big showing. It looks like something similar is happening this season, as there are a lot of Steelers fans in Las Vegas. Here’s one clip 102.5 WDVE’s Randy Bauman talks about X.

I went there a year ago and it was pretty much the same as what I experienced. It’s a long walk from the exit of the casino across the overpass to the stadium, which looks pretty crowded in black and gold. A quick look shows a pretty diverse set of jerseys in that video. Antonio Brown, TJ Watt, Franco Harris, Troy Polamalu, Jack Lambert, James Harrison and others.

Steelers account too I posted a clip on X The caption reads, “Steelers Nation is here.” Mike Tomlin can be seen walking from the field to the locker room to cheers from Steelers fans who had already arrived early.

Here’s another shot of Tomlin. ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. He was overwhelmed by the presence of the Steelers as they returned from the tunnel, and held out the tip of his cap.

Las Vegas is clearly a destination, drawing fans from all over the country (and possibly the world) to accomplish two bucket list items at once. Just like a year ago, there’s a lot to look forward to in the days leading up to the game, and we can spend the weekend at the game.

TribLive’s Joe Rutter posted a photo on X He noted that the majority of fans watching warm-ups were wearing black and gold sportswear.

FOX5’s Steve Chenebee also posted a clip of him walking through the stadium carrying a bunch of Steelers jerseys. I think it may end up being a complete takeover.

It’s not uncommon for Steelers fans to try to force the opposing home team to utilize a silent count on offense. Looks like this could be one of those days too.
