Trump imposes tariffs up to 30% on six more countries in trade policy push

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that in a social media post, tariff charges in more countries are higher.

The latest round of Trump’s trade announcements included Libya, Iraq, Algeria, Moldova, Brunei and the Philippines.

The Philippines was charged a 20% lowest rate. Brunei and Moldova hit at a 25% rate each, while Trump imposed a 30% rate on Algeria, Iraq and Libya.

Trump has posted images of the letter to countries regarding new tariff rates on his true social platforms.

The announcement after Trump recently said that 14 countries do not attack Trade Contract By the beginning of next month, the US will return to the level set for April.

In April, Trump announced a “mutual” tariff policy in which US tariffs on goods imported from abroad are based on the scale of the US bilateral trade deficit with those countries.
