Where is the cheese pack? TikToker Abby shares story about gluten-free Kraft mac & cheese
About a week ago, Abby, who goes by @asengel On TikTok, I shared a story about how I bought multiple boxes of gluten-free Kraft mac and cheese, only to find that none of the packages contained cheese. She contacted the company via email in hopes of resolving the issue.
“I sent an email, but the problem hasn’t been resolved. I think it’s some sort of miscommunication or automation, and no one is actually reading my messages,” she said. Ta. “I’m gluten-free and got four boxes of gluten-free macaroni and cheese with no sauce.”

She goes into further detail, saying that all four boxes were purchased in different locations, different cities, and that she filled out an online form, but what actually happened was that she received an apology letter in the mail with a coupon for a free box. He said it was just that.
“The problem is, you go and use that coupon and get another box of macaroni and cheese, and when you open it, there’s no bag of sauce inside,” she continued. “So giving me a coupon to get another box of macaroni and cheese won’t solve the problem, because Kraft Mac and Cheese hasn’t addressed the issue with their production line.”

“There’s something going on with that gluten-free box of mac and cheese.”
Abby continued to explain the problem in her video by saying, “You need a pack of cheese.” She then accused the company of not solving the real problem.
“Giving them a coupon for more won’t solve the problem if they don’t have a packet in the box,” she says. “I don’t know what to do. I filled out the form four times.”
She said she called the company but couldn’t speak to anyone who actually worked for the company and that talking to customer service was just “daunting.” She hopes her TikTok video gets to someone at Kraft because she feels like no one reads her emails.
Viewers of the video shared their support and suggestions in the comments section.

Abby shared a video response to Kraft’s comments on her complaint video
After seeing the company’s comments on her video, Abby decided to respond with another video.
“Obviously, we have a lot to talk about, so let’s get down to business. I want to talk about this comment,” she said, pointing to the comment they left. “I’d like to talk to you about the comments I made on your page about how you contacted me when you haven’t, and I’d like to show you the proof.”
Abby explained that Kraft mac & cheese has been her “comfort food” since going gluten-free. She said that because of the comments they left on previous videos, it “no longer felt like comfort food.”
“This doesn’t make me feel safe. It makes me feel more isolated,” she continued. “This is not going to help my relationship with food, and I want you to understand that right away.”
She also pointed to a comment on one of her videos that read, “Do you realize there’s no sauce bag in the gluten-free box? Ask @abby.” Kraft responded, “Hello. We understand your concerns and have been in contact with the consumer to resolve this issue. Thank you for contacting us.”
Abby then showed her receipt to prove that the company had not contacted her through DMs on Instagram or TikTok. She added a screen recording of the email.

Abby shared another update
In a follow-up video, Abby shared that she finally got a call from Kraft not long after she shared her last video.
“I spoke to an executive named Larry, and he was an older gentleman, so I’m sure he’s never seen anything here on TikTok,” she explained. “He told me some things that I would like to share with you.”
She said Kraft was “conducting an internal investigation” and was “satisfied that this information was communicated to executives and senior management.”
Abby also told Larry that the comments Kraft’s social media team left on her videos were “gaslighting” and that Larry would “learn from their mistakes.”
“I would also like to note that Stouffer’s Mac and Cheese has also contacted me and sent me a pack of gluten-free cheese for my mac and cheese without the noodles. That’s very kind of me,” she continued. “The packaging is gluten-free, but the noodles are not.”
