Mowry is gearing up to explore her life post-divorce and take fans and curious viewers on a journey with her in her upcoming documentary series, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” which will air on We TV. A recent trailer for the series features the actress’ comments about her relationship with Tamara.

a Latest Preview of Tia Mowry: My Next Act In the video, the actress is seen discussing her divorce from Corey Hardrict, the father of her two children, son Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6. The “Family Reunion” actress is also seen celebrating getting a new job and reacting to an awkward one-armed hug moment with Hardrict.
However, Tamara does not appear in this preview.
The internet was aghast after Tia recently spoke publicly about her sister’s relationship. In another trailer, Tia revealed that she and Tamara aren’t as close as she would like.
According to Us Weekly:Tia continued.[I wish] I could pick up the phone and contact her, but that’s not the situation right now.”

Fans nostalgic for the 1990s can take heart: Tia and her sister are not at odds!
Tia clarified her comments to the publication on Monday, saying, “That’s what I heard, but essentially what I was alluding to is this: As we grow up, we all have our own families, and we feel like our kids need to rely on their families. We start to take on new roles and responsibilities in our lives…”
Tia continued, “During these changes in life, sometimes you think you just want a hug, you just want to be close to someone like you used to be, but that’s not the case. That’s life…”

When it comes to dealing with gossip, Tia might be called a “seasoned pro.”
Tia may be starting a new “chapter” in her life and in the entertainment industry, but she knows fans are curious to see what goes on behind the scenes with Tamara.
She continued to Us Weekly, “When you’ve been in this industry for over 30 years, things are always going to be taken out of context, but all I can do is control my actions and be the best person I can be, and that’s who we both are. We are incredible, inspiring role models and always have been, so why change that now?”
The mother-of-two also said the speculation was “not a surprise.”

This isn’t Tia’s first foray into letting the camera into her personal life to share it with fans – the Instant Mom actress regularly documents her life for her social media followers.
