In our constant pursuit of relevance, Threads is adding more search tools.
“We make it easy to search for specific posts here.” Threads account posted in Threads post. “Tap the menu on the right in the search bar for options to narrow your search by profile and date range.”
The post said the update would roll out globally in the coming weeks. Some people may have access right away, while others may have to wait.

“If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll be watching it soon 🫶,” the post said.
This comes as Elon Musk appears to be doing everything in his power to ensure the destruction of the app formerly known as Twitter, and people are starting to move away from X in droves. Users seem to be flocking to Bluesky, but Threads is by no means empty and serves to keep people interested.
Thread may adopt Bluesky’s Starter Pack
Search functionality may seem like a bit of a late addition to social media apps, but apparently that’s not the case. With additional features similar to current internet darling Bluesky and our old sweetheart Twitter, it’s an obvious choice for Meta to consider. Just a few days ago, Threads seemed to be leaning toward Bluesky’s Starter Pack. If that prevents me from posting to the thread, I don’t know what will happen.
