After going viral, the Mumbai-based Authentic Show driver has now lost his income after making headlines to make money without running a car. He earned 5-8 rupees each month. His story was shared by Lenskart product leader Rahul Rupani by LinkedIn’s Rahul Rupani. People celebrated the story as a success story, but now all the revenues of that car driver have stopped, and now he drives the car and runs the house.
Why did his income stop?
They were shocked when police began to learn about the huge income of this car driver. When surveyed, it was found that the business model that revenues are talking about is followed by around 12 car drivers, not just one. These people maintain the baggage of those who come there without a license and make money. Officials at the BKC Police Station said the embassy is a very sensitive place. In these circumstances, it is not safe to store your bag without checking. Police have stopped this job as a motorist and warned him not to do such work either.
What did this car driver use?
His interesting story was shared by Rupani on LinkedIn, which was a word-of-mouth review on social media.

Explaining further, he said, “I was outside the US Consulate this week for my visa appointment. I said security couldn’t carry my bag. There are no lockers. No suggestions.
I was standing ignorantly on the sidewalk, but the car driver was waving at me:
“Sir, Bag de Do. Safe Rakunga, Mera Roz ka Hai. Charge Rs1,000 hai.”
I hesitated. After that, I gave up.
And that’s when I discovered this guy’s amazing business.
He used to do the following:
– Park his car just outside the consulate.
– We offer bag keeping service at Rs 1,000 per customer.
– Attain 20-30 customers per day.
– It’s 20k to rs 30k per day, or 5-8 rupees per month!
Partnership with local police officers
He is partnering with a local police officer who owns a small locker space nearby, as he cannot legally store 30 bags in his car. The bag goes there.

Auto acts as a conversion funnel.
And while most people sweat the US visa interviews, this guy runs zero mile, recruitable, bootstrap operations.
