My experience
Once they were paired, I tapped play on Spotify and paused immediately. Why am I doing that?
The first sound was quite hollow. He says sound quality isn’t that important in earphones used for exercise, but there are limits. Before tapping Play again, I opened the Baesus mobile app (Android/iOS), connected the earphones and jumped straight into the EQ section.
Within the app, there are four preset EQs (Baseus Classic, Hi-Fi Live, Jazz, Treble Boost, Acoustic, and Bass Boost). There is also a custom EQ option, but I can see that there is a problem when using a custom EQ. The volume dropped dramatically and the curves were not very accurate.
That would have been a shame, but I found the bass boost EQ curve to be appropriate in most environments. It’s in the middle of winter (and we received a 6-week groundhog trigger bonus time in the cold), but I was able to test the earphones on the treadmill.
The results were impressive. Not only were the earphones big enough to make the treadmill own, they stayed there and were extremely comfortable. I’m not going to experience the results of normal individual song tests, mainly because the MC1 earphones sounded pretty average. Fortunately, it’s not the sound that sets this apart, it’s comfort and stability.

Instead of wrapping it around your ears, the MC1 earphones are clipped to your ears, with the spherical sides placed inside and the rectangular sides placed behind. When I first put on the MC1 earphones, I thought they would take off. But when I activated my body, I realized they would remain placed. Running hard on the treadmill didn’t compromise stability.
The MC1 earphones get a total of 40 hours of playtime (including charging in the included cases).

As for waterproofing, the MC1 earphones enjoy IP57 waterproofing and dustproofing. That means it is protected from rain, sweat and dust. Unless you go swimming with these earbuds, they have to be fine.

During my testing, I found that the best configuration was:

The above settings gave me a clear sound regardless of the environment.
