Starring on the successful Prime Video series “The Boys” has many benefits, but it also tends to have one major downside. Almost every actor involved in this series is guaranteed to experience at least one truly disgusting and disturbing scene. For example, Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight, had an incident where she mixed up the lubricant while filming the movie Herogasm, and Chace Crawford, the actor from The Deep, pretended to eat his octopus friend Timothy. had to do. They also often feature large amounts of bodily fluids, which is a big problem for Mother’s Milk, a character with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and a fear of germs. Laz Alonso, who plays MM, has had to go through his fair share of awful moments, but in season 4, he had his worst moment yet.
In the podcast episode “midnight boys” Alonso revealed behind-the-scenes details about filming a truly raunchy scene in the sixth episode of season four, aptly titled “Dirty Business.” Mother’s Milk is definitely a character who has been out-of-contract multiple times and has had some of the worst moments that could possibly happen, but for Alonso, it seems like what happened in Season 4 was really good.
At one moment, Alonso broke character.
Poor Mother’s Milk had to endure so many ridiculous and disgusting events throughout “The Boys.” He’s been doused in gallons of fake semen and touched with long, wriggling love sausages (don’t ask), but in season 4, Web Weaver (Dan Mousseau) injects a drug into his rear entrance. I had to help. . Instead, he first sticks the syringe into the web weaver’s web hole, right above the poop hole, but then he manages to do it correctly and the web weaver shoots the web into MM’s cheek. I did. This is a bit of a nightmare for anyone, but it’s even worse for people with OCD. As he explained on the podcast, for Alonso, actually filming wasn’t all that great.
“You know, we’ve filmed a lot of disgusting things on our show. That’s the only scene in my career…the only scene where I broke character and screamed at the other actor. I’m doing this to protect you.” What happened in that scene made me break character and literally scream in fear for about an hour, literally apologizing profusely to the guy. ”
There seems to have been an accident where Alonso could have touched Mousseau’s chocolate starfish, but it’s pretty traumatic in terms of acting accidents. It’s hard to blame Alonso for screaming and apologizing so much, but it’s pretty wild that he’s gotten himself into so many wild situations this series in the first place.
Webweaver’s weirdness may have been too much
What happened with Web Weaver wasn’t the only time Alonso had a bad moment on set (he even clashed with Ella in the Deep), but he took everything in stride. However, some may wonder why there are so many extreme moments and what impact they have on the series as a whole. Some of the gory moments are quite fun, but others go too far. Everything about Web-Weaver definitely does that. The drug injections and webbing are kinda funny, if a little sad and gory, but when Huey (Jack Quaid) is sexually assaulted by Tech Knight (Derek Wilson) in a webweaver suit, it’s too over the top. is.
It will be interesting to see how the team of “The Boys” handles the fifth and final season and whether they rise to the occasion and take on the challenge. Given the escalating body fluids, murderous animals, and black humor, it’s almost guaranteed to make you sick.
