The 10 best drinks in Las Vegas
These are the best drinks to enjoy on your next trip to Las Vegas, whether you’re staying along or off the Strip.
1. Island Time Floats Tiki Bar
This was one of the places we visited on our first trip together and we’ve been going there ever since.
They used to offer a two-for-one drink deal and were open until quite late.
We love the tropical drinks here, especially in the summer when temperatures are still in the 90s at night.
2. Planet Hollywood at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
This hotel is especially on our list for its location and views.
Of course, Planet Hollywood is in a lot of tourist spots, but this hotel has a great patio overlooking the Strip.
We went on a lazy weekday afternoon so had the patio to ourselves.
They are generally Happy HourSo it’s an even better time to visit.
3. Taco Bell Cantina
They currently have several locations, but the Las Vegas Strip location is our favorite.
Drinks are a little pricey considering the good deals you can get elsewhere, but you really are paying for a novelty.
You can choose the type of alcohol you want to add to your frozen drink, and you can even add extra shots.
I usually order a Pina Colada and JP orders a Baja Blast.
4. Fuel Bar at the Grand Bazaar Shops
This store always has buy two get one free coupons so it’s definitely worth a visit.
They also put on a show by flipping bottles and stuff as they make the drinks, which is also cool.
I end up buying more coupons than I can use in one trip, so I save them for next time.
FYI, Fuel Bar is in the same area as Island Time Floats Tiki Bar and Giordano’s.
5. Margaritaville
Margaritaville has an all-day happy hour every day, so I wanted to include it on this list.
With a great atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a frozen drink, a cheeseburger in paradise, or a slice of key lime pie.
6. Underground Speakeasy & Distillery
This is their other location downtown (on Fremont Street).
It’s located below the Mob Museum near the Downtown Grand Hotel.
To participate, you just need to find them on Instagram and look up the code for that day or week.
One of our favorite things about visiting this speakeasy is the way the drinks are served.
When you order an Old Fashioned, it comes premixed in a fudge bottle and you pour it into a glass with ice.
JP loves to drink an Old Fashioned wherever we go, and I love a good Irish Coffee, especially when it’s cold (and it is often cold).
7. Montecristo Cigar Bar
We came here recently during an overnight stop in Las Vegas.
We took advantage of the complimentary room at Caesars Palace, a place we’d never stayed in before.
So we decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
Went here with friends for drinks and the wine list was excellent.
8. Franky’s Tiki Room
This is not on the Strip or downtown.
Frankie’s Tiki Room.
It’s a place loved by locals, so I highly recommend you visit at least once.
Fun fact – the designer of this bar is a descendant of one of the designers of Disneyland’s original Enchanted Tiki Room.
It’s very dark inside, so it takes a minute for your eyes to adjust.
There are tons of tropical drinks to try.
It would probably take more than 20 visits to try them all.
I personally tend to favor coconut and pineapple type drinks, but there are plenty of other options available.
9. Ghost Robot
This is a speakeasy located inside the Cosmopolitan.
There are no signs so just look for the donkey above the door.
We’ll give you a hint: it’s located in the food court where District Donuts is located!
10. Tipsy Robot At the Miracle Mile Shop
This bar is located in the middle of the Strip, at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
What’s unique about this bar is that robots act as bartenders, and you can watch them make the drinks you order.
On the other side of the bar is a traditional bar with cheaper drinks and specials.
If you time it right, you can order a drink at the “human bar” and save money by watching a bunch of other people make their drinks.
Where to stay in Las Vegas?
While you’re exploring all these restaurants, you’ll need a place to stay.
These are our favorites.
✔️ Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
The Horseshoe has always been one of the cheapest hotels you can stay at on the Las Vegas Strip.
What’s even more surprising is that it’s located in the heart of the Strip and is reasonably priced.
To receive discounts and free nights at this hotel, we recommend signing up for the free Caesar’s Rewards program.
Caesar’s Rewards discounts usually give you at least an extra 10% off, but unless it’s a holiday, you can usually get more.
There are also other offers available from time to time that give you food and drink credits during your stay.

✔️ Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is located right next to the Horseshoe.
Again, this hotel is very centrally located on the Strip.
They also participate in the Caesar’s Rewards program, which I highly recommend joining to help you save money on your next stay.
While it’s not necessarily the cheapest place on the Strip, you can often book a room for under $100 a night, including resort fees, throughout the year.
Everything about this resort will make you feel like you’re in Paris, while still allowing you to enjoy luxury on a budget.

✔️ Polo Towers by Diamond Resorts
Polo Towers is a timeshare resort located on the Strip.
The hotel is owned by Diamond Resorts and was recently acquired by Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
The Polo Towers are located at the southern end of the Strip, near Excalibur and New York New York.
So while it’s on a busy part of the Las Vegas Strip, it’s not exactly in the middle like the other two hotels. But the Polo Towers does have the advantage of having a kitchen.
Most hotels in Las Vegas don’t even have refrigerators unless they are fully stocked with alcoholic beverages purchased at an additional cost.
At Polo Towers, you are allowed to bring in all the food and drinks that will fit in a full-size refrigerator.
That’s the biggest draw for us because it’s hot in the summer in Las Vegas and I drink a ton of water, so I prefer cold water.
