With the Philadelphia Eagles taking care of their business and stylishly blowing up the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIX, we’re already looking to see who’ll bring home the next Lombardi. Naturally, the Pittsburgh Steelers are given long odds to win the Super Bowl 60 in 2026. Many odds makers have already released their first odds for the Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California. But no matter which one you choose, your beliefs are the same. Pittsburgh is closer to the bottom than the top.
The odds for some famous sportsbooks are as follows:
Fox Sports: +6500 (19th)
MGM bet: +8000 (23rd-best)
Draft Kings: +6500 (18th)
Fan Dueling: +7000 (23rd-best)
Super Book Nevada: +5000 (18th)
He played in the final Super Bowl of 2010 and had no Super Bowl wins since 2008. It’s no surprise to see Pittsburgh ranked for this. They have similar odds as before the season when most books had teams between 75-1 and 100-1.
The Eagles, Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills have top four odds of consensus that remind us how difficult the AFC is.
Without the franchise quarterback, the Steelers are staring at another mountain and climbing to win the Super Bowl. Even the three-peat bids that the Chiefs were shattered on Sunday night, they will still be favorites to represent the AFC next year. Cincinnati Bengal is always dangerous, especially when defense improves some notches, but Cincinnati Bengal is always dangerous.
Pittsburgh is stuck as a wildcard contender who has won nine or ten games in four straight seasons. This produced two playoff trips, but was blown away in 2024 by the Ravens’ offense, which ran through the entire Steelers defense.
Confidence is at the lowest point, as the aging defense that fell late in the season and the Steelers team are separated from the historic five-game collapse. Director Mike Tomlin has been under scrutiny as much as ever since he was hired in 2007 and took a jab at this year’s Super Bowl commercial. Pittsburgh will make changes to the roster and tweak it to the coaching staff, but it doesn’t seem to be a splash move that will make the Steelers’ outlook better than their wildcard competitors.
The Oddsmaker once again put Pittsburgh’s 2025 win/loss at 8.5, and the Steelers are a good beat to step on that bar again. But getting past that point is incredible and Pittsburgh has to prove they can get through the first round. Even if you do that, knocking off multiples of AFC’s top quarterbacks is a tall task, and sports books naturally downplay the possibility of reaching the Super Bowl in 12 months.
