Source: Brady Christensen agrees to deal with Panthers

Veteran offensive lineman Brady Christensen agreed to a one-year, $2.78 million, fully guaranteed deal with the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday, sources told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Christensen, 28, has proven that he can be a quality starter in multiple positions over the past four seasons for the Panthers after the staff led by then-coach Matt Ruhr scored his third pick in 2021.

He has a career start of 30, including 17 left guard in 2022, and Carolina has improved from 28th to 11th in the sacks.

He started six games on Revamped Line in 2024. This includes four innings at center, his main position at BYU, and two games with left tackle.

Christensen became a swing starter at multiple spots as the Panthers spent $100 million on guards Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis in free agency last year and had Ikemu Ekwonwo on the 2022 first round pick (No. 6) on left tackle.

Christensen resigned to testing the free agent market after the 2024 season marked the sixth Pickcade Maze in 2022 eight of its final nine games.

David Newton, a staff writer at ESPN, contributed to this report.
