October will not only feature pumpkins, ghouls and goblins this year, but will forever mark “Round Ball Rock” as an NBA broadcast for the first time… and the man who created the iconic jingle TMZ Sports He couldn’t fire it any more!
We caught up John Tesh Last week in Los Angeles…and he could barely contain his excitement when he told us about his song’s return to the airwaves.

Of course, the song was a staple of NBC’s NBA coverage throughout the 1990s… but the melody went dormant when the network lost its broadcasting corporation’s game rights about 20 years ago.
But now, after NBC has returned to NBA photos and signed a new deal Adam SilverThe League of – it promised the return of Tesh’s legendary Ditt… that he is clearly excited.
“It’s fun for me,” he told us. “I mean, the song is 30 years old. So I can’t wait for it to come back. If I have a keyboard, I’ll play it for you!”
Tesh said he played a bit in the song and made some separate remixes…but check out our interview, it certainly sounds like the OG version reigns at its best in the fall.
