We will introduce two popular apparel rental services. Rent unlimited runways and Nuri. <— I've added referral links for both here, so feel free to check them out.
Hello friends! how are you? I hope you are having a great week so far. It was good here. I did choir (one of the highlights of the week), taught two barre classes, and met a friend at True Food for dinner. Pilot and I also spent some time planning, evaluating our budget, and making plans for the rest of the year.
I love paying a subscription fee every year and *cutting waste*. I often find myself paying for things I don’t use or need. That way, you can easily get your money back. . (Especially when the groceries are $1 billion.) While we were going over everything, he realized we were both paying for it. rent a runway and NooriAnd he told me that he thought I should keep my online shopping habits since they had decreased a lot, especially since I had been traveling so much and going to events so much.
It’s true! I’ve definitely shopped less over the past few years, but thanks to RTR and Nuuly, I’m still able to try out lots of fun new options.
Here I’ll explain a little about why I love these two services, why they’re worth it, and the downsides I’ve experienced. You can also check out older reviews of RTR here and Nuuly here.
Rent the Runway or Nuuly – which is better?
I like both RTR and Noori Because each has different options and is suitable for different occasions. I use RTR for staple seasonal items like cozy jackets, and for special events like military events or when I have a party. I also love Nuuly for more casual options like tops and dresses, or if I’m going on vacation.
I have used both services in the past and canceled at various points. I’ve been using these two services together for two years, and there are a few things I’ve noticed.
Strong Points:
– Less shopping. I shop less and focus less on *fast fashion*. You can rent luxury options, and the options change constantly, so you never feel like you’re missing out or feel the need to buy extra in bulk. thing.
When I shop now, I either buy things I really need and love (like a great new pair of jeans or shoes), or I sometimes save shipments from RTR or Nuuly and buy them at a discount. I was able to discover new brands and find out my size for different brands without having to buy and exchange multiple times.
(This blazer was a keeper for Nouri’s delivery)
– You can order dresses for girls. I also like to pick out dresses and sweaters for Liv in my luggage because we often go to events together (like the NCL Tea). The price of two dresses is easily more than what I pay each month. RTR subscription. We also ordered some children’s options for P. Noori She loved events.
– Different styles and purposes. Nuuly is Anthropologie’s clothing and brand. rent a runway A mix of designer brands. Some of my favorites include Ulla Johnson, Derek Lam, Rails, Mother, MISA, and Farm Rio, so I often filter my selection by my favorite brands. We also stock accessories such as sunglasses, jewelry, handbags, and outerwear.
– More variety and allows you to experiment with trends without fully committing. I tend to dress more classically, but if there’s something that’s trending and you want to try it out without actually buying it (like the “shirt-like vest” vibe), it’s not a commitment. there is no.
– Earth-friendly! By renting your clothes instead of constantly buying new ones, you’ll feel like you’re doing a little something for the planet. Don’t get me wrong, I still love shopping, but I’ve become more conscious about my shopping habits. I also like that both companies ship their products in reusable bags and that RTR recycles all of their plastic packaging.
Disadvantages/differences:
– Shipping may be delayed, especially with Nuuly. rent a runway It tends to be a little faster, but it seems like the shipping time always eats into the subscription month a little bit.
– Quality. Overall, Rent the Runway always feels fresh, new, and clean. I’ve previously purchased some worn and dingy items from Nuuly, and I also had to wash some of the items that didn’t smell very fresh.
– It depends on what you are looking for. If you have a vacation or an event, I definitely recommend “Rent the Runway”. If you’re looking for a more everyday option, check out Nuuly.
– Fee. Here are the cost differences between the two options:
Noori Approximately $100 including tax and shipping (6 total per month) rent a runway Approximately $150 (10 total per month; you can get 5 at a time and redeem once). For me, this past year has been full of events and travel, and it’s all been worth it. Depending on the situation, we may cancel for the summer. I think it’s especially valuable if you work in an office environment and want to vary your rotation. My best friend works in an office and has to dress at least business casual every day, and she raves about RTR.
(I still wish I had kept this!)
