NYT Strands hints, answers for October 14

If you’re reading this, it means you’re looking for a little help playing strand, new york times‘Advanced word search game.

In Strands, players must perform a twist on the classic word search. Words can be formed from letters connected vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, but the orientation of words can also change, resulting in strange shapes and patterns. All letters in the grid become part of the answer. There’s always a theme that ties all the solutions together, and a “spangram”, a special word or phrase that summarizes the theme of the day, extending horizontally or vertically across the grid.
