It’s no surprise that Mike Tomlin is one of the stars of the in-season version of Hard Knocks, with the third episode featuring the AFC North airing on Tuesday nights. Tomlin’s personality and leadership make him a must-see on TV. Keith Crosslow, Vice President of NFL Films, said: He spoke on today’s Up & Adams Show. Tomlin did a “great job” handling the camera.
“I think Coach Tomlin was probably reluctant to take on this assignment at first, but once it got on his desk, he was incredible. His attitude towards it was reflected in the program. “I think it’s true,” Crosslow said. “The way he leads, the way he speaks, the atmosphere he creates in that building, I think you’ll see that on the show. That’s one of the reasons why this show is special right now. I think they did a great job handling the parts.”
Although the show focuses on the division as a whole, the first two episodes were heavily biased towards the Steelers. Viewers get to see how Mike Tomlin handles meetings with opponents and game plans, and he is by far the most interesting character on the show. It’s really cool to be able to peek behind the curtain and see how Tomlin handles his team and interacts with his players as a leader, and the scenes involving him and the Steelers are some of the most interesting of the entire show. is.
If you watch this program, you can see how much Tomlin conveys his feelings to his players. From an NFL movie/media standpoint, it makes for good television. Tomlin isn’t happy about the cameras being installed at Hard Knocks and said as much on The Pat McAfee Show last week, but this is an issue the entire AFC North must address. He didn’t let that get in the way of his preparation and focus on the team, creating a truly compelling series and a unique perspective on the Steelers that you wouldn’t get otherwise.
Luckily for Tomlin and the Steelers, this is probably the last time they’ll be featured for a long time, but it was fun to watch, especially with the Steelers on top of the AFC North. If Pittsburgh can defeat the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday and win its first division title since 2020, next week’s episode could be very entertaining.
