New York Giants’ Greg Joseph, Jamie Gillan out vs. Commanders

1 Min Read

The New York Giants wrapped up a week of practice Friday afternoon in East Rutherford, and the game ended better than it started.

Despite increasing reports of major injuries throughout the week, all players except punter Jamie Gillan and kicker Greg Joseph participated in Friday’s practice.

Gillan was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders before the team even took the field.

The Giants will need to add a new kicker in the next 48 hours, as Joseph is a new addition to the injury report and veteran Graham Gano has been placed on IR.

Meanwhile, rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. has cleared concussion protocol and head coach Brian Daboll announced he will play in Week 9.

The full injury report for both the Giants and the manager can be found below.
