The Jonas Brothers have been added to the cast. Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025. The brothers will kick off their 20th anniversary celebration with a career-spanning medley performance from New York’s iconic Times Square, broadcast just after midnight. They join previously announced Carrie Underwood, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton, Laufey, Luis Fonsi, Natasha Bedingfield and T-Pain.
Alicia Keys Celebrated at 4th Annual Meeting Recording Academy Honors Presented by Black Music Collective Alicia will receive the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, which celebrates musical excellence, entrepreneurial accomplishments, philanthropy, and significant global impact.
The Recording Academy also announced the recipients of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, Board of Directors Award, and Technical Grammy Award. Special Achievement Award Ceremony Frankie Beverly, The Clash, Dr. Bobby Jones, Taj Mahal, Prince, Roxanne Chanté and Frankie Vallee are the recipients of the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Errol Garner, Glyn Johns and Tania Leung are Trustees Award winners. Dr. Leo Beranek is a Technical Grammy Award Winner.
Usher wrapped North America’s legs last night. Usher: past, present, future In Miami, Florida. Usher had the audience on their feet and was joined on stage by surprise guests Uncle Luke, DJ Khaled and JT Money. Over 800,000 tickets were sold for the North American tour, and 62 performances were sold out. Usher will head to Europe next year, with stops in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.
Earlier this week, Big Time Rush celebrated the holidays with a special one-night experience for fans at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Big time rush on the ice We featured sold-out concerts and skating spectacles. One of the biggest surprises was when Carlos was gifted the infamous black hockey helmet. This is a nod to the Nickelodeon show, and was the first time a helmet appeared at a Big Time Rush concert.
This week also hosted by Spotify Billions Club Live performed with The Weeknd in Los Angeles to celebrate his status as the most prolific artist with more than 1 billion streams on Spotify. He performed his hits in front of nearly 2,000 top Spotify fans. Lionsgate has announced that The Weeknd’s first feature film, Harry Up Tomorrow, will be released on May 16, 2025, to coincide with his album debut and concert tour of the same name. The film was directed by Trey Edward Schultz and stars The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan.
Billie Eilish has partnered with Support+Feed and American Express to provide critical support to families and individuals in multiple American cities. Hit Me Hard & Soft: The Tour. This partnership will enable small businesses to provide more than 30,000 delicious and nutritious meals to local residents in need across these cities.
SZA releases long-awaited album SOS Deluxe: Lana, An expanded version of her critically acclaimed album SOS. She released the music video for “Drive” starring Ben Stiller. The album also features Kendrick Lamar, with whom he will tour in 2025. SZA is also set to star in the upcoming film One of Them Days, co-starring KiKi Palmer, on January 17, 2025.
