This is my second time I made this recipe What I stumbled online Small town influencer. She said it was the perfect dish to make first for dinner preparation or to take someone to someone, and she’s right. It’s very good and can be easily made ahead.
Christian loves it so much that he demands an encore, but it doesn’t always happen.
It’ll really warm up due to the leftovers, so head on and get in!
material
1 lb ground beef
1 jar of good spaghetti sauce (I use rao)
Additional herbs of your choice (not needed, but add Italian seasonings, oregano and garlic powder)
One bag of Rigatoni pasta
Mozzarella cheese bowl
Refrigerated plague
Fresh shaved parmesan

Turn the meat brown and drain any excess grease. Add the spaghetti sauce and your favorite seasonings and let cool.
The pasta boils separately and slightly undercooked (I’m told I’ll cook for 8 minutes and the bag cooks for 12 minutes).
Cooked pasta and meat sauce.
Preheat the oven to 375.
Butter a 9 x 13 pot. Layer them in the following order:
Pasta and meat sauce
Sliced mozzarella
Layers of the plague
Second layer of pasta and meat sauce
Top with Parmesan
Cover with foil in an oven at 375 for 30 minutes, then bake for 30 minutes without foil.
Top with fresh herbs if needed!
