You know what they say:
The couple arrested together stay together…forever.
So, Amy Slaton is at least hoping for.
On the May 13 episode of the 1000-pound sister, the reality star confirmed that she is now engaged to Brian Rovborn, the same man who was allegedly caught up in a zoo parking lot last year after drugging her last year.
Slaton was detained at the time and charged with possession of drugs and child risk.
But fast forward to this latest in the TLC series, viewers know that Lovvorn proposed in the winter of 2024 in the padded room at the Henderson Horns haunted house in Henderson, Kentucky.
I don’t know when this episode was filmed.
However, Slaton’s brothers Tammy and Misty witnessed a romantic moment.
“Originally, he slid a green apple ring pop on my fingers about two weeks after our relationship while I was asleep.” Slaton told People Magazine on wednesday. “I was shocked at first, and only said yes if the real suggestion was in the haunted house on Halloween.”
Lovvorn popped this big question after just five months of dating. And instead of diamonds, the star’s silver band is decorated with two skeleton hands forming a heart.
We had previously heard that both Amy and Tammy Slaton were engaged. It sounds like at least half of that rumor has been verified.
“He said, ‘My love for you is crazy, I’m scared of how compatible we are,'” Slaton now recalls Robvaughn’s suggestion. “Just like [how] Our matching tattoos say “scary love.” ”
Are you even scared? at least? According to Amy, does it include Tammy?

Slaton tells people that she is excited that her engagement will “be over soon.”
She and her fiancé already have plans for their “small, quaint” weddings, and while it is obviously “always want to marry on Halloween”, they “still know the wedding situation” and “we need to find the venue, dress, flowers, etc!”
But Amy is very optimistic.
“I’ll call him my husband and I’ll be able to spend the rest of my life with him,” she says. “Our engagement life may be short, but our marriage will last forever!”
Amy was finalised to divorce Michael Halterman in the fall of 2023.
The ex-spouse, a former high school lover, shared two young sons and was married for about four years… But insiders showed two years ago that the addition of these children was sadly screwed into romantic dynamics.
For example, in the episode of the 1,000-pound sister that aired in February 2023, fans got a glimpse into where things were wrong between spouses.
“You’re not supposed to be doing this sh-t yourself,” Sister Amanda told Amy at the time, providing support.
“You’re married and have a husband. He’s supposed to be a father too.”
Slaton and Robborn met at a concert in the park… the former said that when he met his son Gage Deon (4, Glenn Allen), the latter was “one.”
“They just took him to nature. He’s perfectly suited to our family,” Slaton says. “He fits perfectly into the life I’ve always wanted.”
Describing her future husband as “understanding him as a patient and having a real heart of money,” Amy concluded to people.
“He promised me 55 years. When he dies, he’ll be 106!”
