Although he still has concerns about his knee, he missed the preseason opener due to COVID-19. Ball suffered an illness just before training camp and was unable to practice for more than a week. The virus took a toll on the guards, causing them to lose weight and strength, Donovan said. “From the conversations I’ve had with the medical personnel and the conversations I’ve had with him, I think it’s going to take a while for him to regain his strength,” Donovan said. “We probably haven’t been able to work out for over a week (due to coronavirus). Instead, the 26-year-old guard, who is recovering from multiple knee surgeries, was recently sidelined with a serious bout of COVID-19. The Bulls opened the preseason with a 116-112 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, but Ball, who last appeared in an NBA game on January 14, 2022, was sidelined again. Ta.
