Kyle Richards has explained that he wants to provide support to Teddi Mellencamp in his divorce from Mauricio Umansky. Mellencamp and Arroyave appear to be on a difficult path, and their parting ways have not yet been finalized.

Kyle Richards shares advice with Teddi Mellencamp on how to deal with public divorce
Richards addressed her friend’s divorce in a new interview, saying she knew Mellencamp was going through a “difficult” time. She explained that the two spoke frequently, adding:
”clearly, It’s sad no matter what…and unfortunately, we can give you some advice on how to survive this situation while in the public eye. ”
Richards noted that the most difficult aspect of separation is the impact it has on children. She referred her daughters to Umansky, confessing that even though they were grown, they were having a hard time dealing with their parents’ divorce.
In that regard, Bravolebrities advised Mellencamp not to deal with her breakup with Arroyave alone. She begs her friend to come by her side whenever she wants to lean on her shoulder, saying, people:

“She can lean on me and show up at my door any time she wants, no matter what time of the night. It is. She has seen me go through this and she knows. ”

Richards tells Mellencamp to ‘focus on the kids’
Richards’ advice went beyond offering to support Ms. Mellencamp, as she told her friends to ignore public attention about the divorce. She recalled the “misunderstandings” that were widespread after her separation from Umansky and urged the former “RHOBH” star to ignore the speculation, saying:
“So, I think we can do it. We just have to focus on the kids…we have to tune out the noise.”
Mellencamp announced her separation from Arroyave on Instagram earlier this month. In a post on Nov. 2, she revealed in a statement that her long-term marriage had ended. write:

“I have felt that being open, honest, and vulnerable is the best way to protect my family from unwarranted speculation and rumors,” Mellencamp wrote. Despite her desire to avoid drama, the estranged couple may have to fight out their differences in court.
Mellencamp filed for divorce on November 1, the day before she withdrew her separation announcement. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their breakup and cited October 20th as the date of separation.
She also sought primary legal and physical custody of the duo’s three children (Slate, Cruz, and Dove), as well as spousal support and attorney fees from Arroyave. However, her estranged lover did not agree to her terms.

Mellencamp and Arroyave could clash in court
As The Blast reported, Arroyave filed for divorce from Mellencamp on Nov. 8. Arroyave denied Mellencamp’s request for primary legal and physical custody of the children and begged the court to grant them joint custody.
Ms. Arroyabe also slammed her request for spousal support and asked the court to suspend her rights but preserve her rights. He cited the prenuptial agreement of the estranged couple and pointed out that:
“The parties’ prenuptial agreement sets out the terms regarding the amount and duration of spousal support. paid. ”
Regarding Mellencamp’s request for legal fees, Arroyave stressed that the two should be responsible for their own legal costs. Furthermore, he disagreed that the date of separation was October 20th and insisted that it was November 1st.
