Kayvon Thibodeaux designated to return from IR

The New York Giants returned to the practice field Wednesday afternoon in preparation for their Week 12 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Before departing in unseasonably warm temperatures, head coach Brian Daboll took to the stage to speak with reporters.

The good news is that linebacker Kayvon Thibodeau has been activated from injured reserve (IR), opening up a 21-day practice period. But Daboll expects him to return long before then, even suggesting he could play this Sunday.

“We’ll open the window for Kayvon and leave optimistic that he’s ready to go,” Daboll said.

All other players were expected to practice at least on a limited basis.
