Dion Dawkins And the rest of the Buffalo Bills offense gave their star quarterback a Christmas present earlier this week…and Gabriel Jacobs of Raphael & Company — The jeweler who created this piece — explained to us that this thing is truly one of a kind.
It’s made from 14-karat white gold and contains approximately 27 carats of diamonds (12 carats for the necklace and 15 carats for the charm), Jacobs said.
As for how the idea came about, Jacobs said he was contacted by Dawkins about the matter on Dec. 9, and after settling on making a No. 17 mini-jersey, the jeweler said in Dec. He said he had it shipped to Orchard Park by the 9th. 20.
In addition to the precious jewelry…the back of the pendant also has the names of all of Allen’s personal guardians engraved on it.
The 28-year-old signal caller was clearly excited about it, and a video Dawkins shared on Wednesday showed him all smiles.
We didn’t say anything about what held it back for Dawkins and co. — Jacobs only told us the price tag was “there” — but look at the look on Allen’s face… it was It was clearly worth every penny!
