It’s been six months since Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Oscars, but Trump is still visibly upset that Kimmel recited the former president’s “Truth Social” rant onstage.
Earlier this week, President Trump held a rally where he launched into another outburst about Kimmel, calling him “one of the dumbest people in history” after giving his version of what happened at the Oscars.
“Isn’t it cool?” Kimmel says after playing the video. “He’s also mistaking me for one of his sons.”
The actual joke Kimmel made at the Oscars was, after reading out loud Trump’s “Truth Social” rant, “I’m surprised you’re still alive. Aren’t you done with your sentence?” Trump is apparently certain that Kimmel’s wife, Molly McNearny, did not want him to make the joke, but Kimmel called her up onstage and made his position very clear.
“Thank you, Donald, for your support and I’m glad you’re bringing it to my attention,” she said in the video. “Right now, one in three women in this country live under an abortion ban because you run the Supreme Court. Because of you, women in 21 states cannot make choices about their lives and their bodies. And 10 states in the U.S. have no exceptions for rape and incest. The party that you run so big and so beautifully, the party that cares so much about motherhood, just blocked a bill that would have protected access to IVF. Women are dying and good doctors are quitting because we can’t get or provide the reproductive health care that women so desperately need.
“So my advice to you is to shut up and get out. Go to Mar-a-Lago and spend all day every day cheating at golf and masturbating to Newsmax and leave it to a capable woman.”
