Jessa gave birth to their youngest child, son George, in December 2023.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more heartwarming as a parent, seeing my older kids adoring our newborn baby just fills my heart,” Jessa said in an emotional YouTube video. “It’s the most amazing thing to witness.”

She added: “The sweetest moment. [was] When they picked up the baby and put him on top of me, I think just holding him brought a lot of emotions to the moment. [and] There’s a lot to process. It’s been a year since we lost our last baby and we’re overwhelmed with emotions.”

George is Jessa and Seewald’s rainbow baby, born after a miscarriage, and they announced the news in February 2023.

“Nothing prepared me for the weight of those words at the time,” Jessa recalled in a YouTube video from the time. “I immediately began crying. [and Ben and I were] I sat there holding my hands and crying, trying to come to terms with the loss.”

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald married in November 2014 and have been growing their family ever since. She continued: “Just as they were about to take me back in a wheelchair, [to the operating room]”I just wanted to beg, ‘Can I just have another ultrasound? Can someone check, just make sure?’ I was so scared that something might be wrong… It’s irrational, but I’m just so scared.”

Jessa relied on her faith to undergo emergency cervical cancer surgery.

“Heaven seems so much sweeter when you lose someone you love. We’ve had this conversation with our kids,” she said. “I can’t wait to meet this little one in heaven one day.”

“There were a lot of times where I thought, ‘I know exactly how to do this, I’ve worked with kids,’ but with my own kids it’s totally different,” she said in an exclusive interview.
