Jenny Garth Still dealing with death Luke Perry and Shanen Doherty.
Garth, 52, opened up about her death Beverly Hills, 90210 Co-stars appearing in “Two Jersey JS” on Wednesday, March 26th Podcasts Hosted by A real housewife in New Jersey‘s Jackie Gold Schneider and Jennifer Fesler.
“That doesn’t make sense. It still doesn’t mean anything to my brain,” Garth said of Perry and Doherty’s deaths. “It’s very difficult to understand that they’re not here physically, as I live in a world where they still live in my mind.”
Garth played Kelly Taylor in the hit Fox teen drama that aired all 10 seasons from 1990 to 2000. Doherty played Brenda Walsh in his first four seasons, and Perry performed bad boy Dylan McKay at the end of the show in seasons 1-6, and seasons 9-10.
Perry passed away in March 2019 at the age of 52 after suffering a major stroke. Doherty passed away in July 2024 after a year-long battle with cancer. She was 53 years old.
Last year, Garth admitted that the death of her co-star had a major impact on her.

“It’s like a part of your foundation [is gone]Garth spoke to listeners for years while talking about Perry. [and] They had an experience with us. ”
She added, “It’s a bit hard to believe that other people understand the connection.”
Garth explained that Doherty’s death raised many of those same feelings. “It was crazy to be shocked to learn that she was sick and know how hard she was fighting, but it still felt shocking,” she confessed.
The actress admitted she had never thought of it. [Doherty] He’ll succumb to cancer because of how much “fighter” she was. (Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Three years after he was in remission in 2017, the cancer returned to stage IV. The cancer spread to her brain in 2023.)

Despite being heartbroken to lose another friend among them 90210 The family, Garth, said she gained “very strong” from the “growth” beside Doherty.
“I learned a lot about how to stand up for myself, how to fight for what I believed in,” Garth said of his late friend. “I saw her say what she needs to say and I was like, ‘I want to be that way. I want to be the person who uses my voice to say what I need to say.” So she inspired me. ”
