Jabari Smith has signed a five-year, $122 million rookie contract extension with the Rockets, which is fully guaranteed for the 2030-31 season. “It feels great to know you’re committed to the city you want to be. I want to be here for the rest of my career,” Smith told the Chronicle Friday. “So I’m happy that this is a good start. I’m ready to make something.”
