Israeli observability platform for modern architecture Ground cover Today we announced the completion of our $35 million Series B Finance Round, led by Zeev Ventures. This funding round brings the total amount raised by the company to $60 million. It has been used for aggressive expansion in the US and has successfully replaced legacy observability solutions such as Datadog, New Relic and Grafana Cloud.
GroundCover was founded by CEO Shahar Azulay and CTO Yechezkel Rabinovich.
“Our platform offers far better coverage and value than the legacy application monitoring solutions that have been around for over a decade. We are the only solution to build EBPF on the forefront from day one, and we are currently pioneering an approach to “bring your own cloud” so that organizations can maintain their data while still maintaining the benefits of all experiences. ”
GroundCover has developed a “Bring Your Own Cloud” (BYOC) Observability solution, redefine the architecture of the latest observability platform by allowing customers to host OnPREM in on-pair while fully managed by GroundCover. The speed of the solution maximizes your customer’s security and privacy needs, unlock coverage trade-offs with unlimited data, and offers a complete suite of observability with simple, predictable pricing models. GroundCover utilizes EBPF to collect observability data from the Linux kernel, providing engineers with extremely granular visibility across the environment, including traces, application-level metrics, infrastructure performance, and application logs.
Today, GroundCover has 60 employees, over 500% in ARR since last year, and has invested heavily in big partnerships, including AWS, GCP and more. Their latest observability platform is used by hundreds of companies, ranging from the fast-growing tech companies to the Fortune 100. Dozens of these customers have successfully migrated from Datadog and to the GroundCover platform. Powered by AI, GroundCover’s new migration service will heal vendor lock-in and unwanted legacy sticky pain, quickly migrating monitors, dashboards and data from DataDog to GroundCover.
