India will emerge as a global leader in innovation and technology-driven growth, said Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Alliance Industry.

The minister, who welcomed the startup job during the walkthrough at the “Startup Mahakamb” event here, said he could see world-class quality work, experience energy-efficient technology, power electronics, see the defense equipment that young startups are creating, and recognize how fintechs become the source of empowerment for the general public.

“This is the foundation – the foundation that India moves into the world of innovation in a very big way. We make us feel our presence on the global stage. I am very pleased with the work done in young startups. Young India wants to go.

The second edition of Startup Mahakumbh featured 10 theme pavilions covering major industries such as AI, Deeptech and Cybersecurity, HealthTech and Biotech, Agritech, Agritech, Incubators & Accelerators, D2C, Fintech, Gaming and Sports, B2B, Precision Manufacuring, Dewess Tech, and Mobility.

Goyal visited numerous exhibits showing groundbreaking innovations such as Climate Tech, Biotech, AI and Deeptech, from intelligent air purifiers and EV tractors to AI-driven platforms.

“Startup Mahakumbh” featured more than 3,000 startups, over 1,000 investors and incubators, and over 10,000 representatives from over 50 countries, making it a great opportunity for startups to pitch their business, build investor relationships and secure critical funds.

A groundbreaking moment in the Indian Fintech Journey with the launch of the Indian Fintech Foundation was also witnessed in the presence of the G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant. Sanjiv Singh, DPIIT co-secretary. NS Vishwanathan, former lieutenant governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
