Hull FC won the first home game of the 2025 Super League season, winning Wakefield Trinity 16-10 at MKM Stadium.

Blacks and whites lost 11 and won last July at MKM Stadium on July 20th, with Max Jowitt’s 10-point haul again opposed it in the first half.

However, Zach Harderker, Jordan Rapana and Lewis Martin all came within the dozen late space, with Jack Charles being converted twice, sealing off Hal’s first victory in the eighth patches of 2025.

All of Hull’s eight previous victories in the campaign appeared on the roads and kept the contest for a top-six finish, but overcame the first 40 minutes on Thursday to insist on the comfort of the postponed home.

They appeared to have moved ahead for two minutes when Harvey Baron jumped into the right corner, but the attempt was ruled out as Jed Cartwright’s assist was determined to have moved forward.

Amir Blue then made some mistakes on the uncostly rack, but Liam Knight’s helpless line in play came when Jowitt ran Wakefield with a 35-yard penalty.

He split the post again when Brad Fash thwarted Josh Rourke with play the ball to punish Hal for repeated mistakes before getting sunshine between teams in the 37th minute.

Harvey Smith was an architect as he exploited the yawning gap through the centre of Hull after barreling and adding extras under the post for his 11th attempt.

Hal appeared to have rejuvenated upon reopening, and while Sam Eche was fumbled after endured the line, Hardaker dug a hole from the dummy half in the 55th minute, carrying three defenders along with him.
