During the campaign, Trump signalled voters to bring new transparency to the Epstein issue. However, his administration has done little since he took office, except to disclose the discarding of old documents at a highly misused event that was quickly dismissed as a “promotional stunt.” The administration may have underestimated the extent to which Maga actually cares about the issue, and apparently thought Trumpians would be happy with the limited media attitude it could provide.
