In our weekly articles, we give a quick overview of how members of the national media view the Pittsburgh Steelers odds. Here’s a quick overview of some of the celebrities who are either for or against Pittsburgh. Let’s see who gets it right most often. If a score prediction is provided, also include it. Where applicable, I’ll incorporate Dave Bryan’s and my own predictions to see how it turns out.

simple notes
– The 13 scoring predictions are not surprising, all within one possession. Of those, 11 were within field goals.
– Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh are two of the longest-serving active head coaches in football. Mr. Tomlin was hired in 2007 and Mr. Harbaugh was hired in 2008.
– Of the 32 regular season matchups, more games were decided by three points or less (18 games) than by three points or more (14 games).
– Baltimore’s defense has faced the most pass attempts in football this season. Pittsburgh’s offense allows the third-fewest pass attempts.
– The Steelers had more rushing attempts in the fourth quarter (104) than the Ravens (96).
– Despite their valuable rivalry, there are no prime-time games scheduled between the two teams this year. This means that for the second consecutive season, there will be no night game between Pittsburgh and Baltimore. The last time it happened was in Week 17 of the 2022 season.
In fact, this is the only primetime game the two sides have played since 2019. It’s a little crazy.
– Four of football’s top 15 rushers entering Week 11 spent all or part of their college careers at Alabama: Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, Jahmil Gibbs and Najee Harris. In total, they rushed for 3,254 yards and 25 touchdowns.
– Assuming both start in the rematch in Week 16, Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson will start each other as much as Ben Roethlisberger and Lamar Jackson did. Two each. Jackson’s injury and Roethlisberger’s injury in 2019 prevented them from meeting often.
