How Christine Brown’s Daughter Felt About Her Relationship

The 21-year-old revealed that she was a little hesitant to accept the pace of her mother and new husband’s relationship.

Christine Brown and David Woolley began their whirlwind romance in 2023, two years after she ended her 27-year marriage to Kody Brown in 2021.

In the latest episode of “sister wifeOn the show, which aired on January 12, Isabelle explained that she initially thought it was too early when David proposed to her mother just months after confirming their relationship on Instagram.

But the TLC star, whose dark days of suspicion are long gone, said, “But I think I’ve had time to adjust to it.” She added that the lovers couldn’t be happier because enough time has passed for them to know how much they love each other.

According to In contactIsabelle shared the moment her mother realized she had made the right choice in coupling up with David. In her words, “We were out of town and he looked at you and was like, ‘Oh, I love you so much.'”

Explaining further, she added: “It’s just so honest and pure. And I’ve never heard someone say ‘I love you’ so much to you.”

David became a key highlight of Christine’s new start after ending her marriage to Kody in November 2021.

The estranged couple welcomed six children together: daughters Mykelti, Aspin, Isabel, Gwendolyn, Truly and son Paydon, until Christine decided to end their spiritual marriage.

Christine happily revealed that she was dating someone in February 2023, and officially announced their relationship on Instagram later that month. In April 2023, they took things a step further by purchasing a home together. Shortly after, the two announced their engagement and set a wedding date for October 2023.

David also first met Kody when he and Christine attended a family Valentine’s Day party. Kody continued to ask David questions about how long the two had been dating. On the November 10, 2024 episode, Christine immediately answered, “A month and a half.”

Kody also asked if David had met Christine’s children and three grandchildren. Christine answered in the affirmative, and Mykelti added that Christine, 60, helped babysit her grandchildren while they went for pedicures.

The adorable pair have since celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and it looks like David is living up to his claim that he doesn’t mind large groups or lots of kids.

David, a proud father of eight, continues to give his beloved wife all the praise she deserves, calling their relationship “one hell of a ride”.

“I went to Sedona a few weeks ago and it was really, really beautiful, like [Christine] teeth. I’m so glad she found me and stalked me,” David captioned a post on October 15, 2024, featuring a selfie of the couple.

The construction expert described his wife as “the most thoughtful, loving, caring person. I’m enjoying this ride and I want to continue riding it.”

The 28-year-old never held back from speaking out about important matters in the Brown family. Last year, she sparked speculation when she mentioned allegations of domestic violence within her family.

The Blast reported that Mykelti had previously made vague but pointed comments about abuse allegations involving Meri and the Brown family. She discussed the topic during a Q&A session, and although she didn’t go into detail, she still left room for doubt.

During the session, Mykelti appeared to reference a YouTuber’s video that attempted to confirm whether Meri was abusive towards Kody. Her response, which leaves viewers searching for the truth, was:

“If you think so, and others think so too, you’re probably not far off.”

The influencer declined to elaborate further, but quickly added, “I don’t want people calling me and getting me into trouble. So that’s all I have to say.”

Although he didn’t reveal much during last year’s Q&A, Mykelti went on record citing some of Meri’s problematic behaviors that she experienced growing up.

Although they had never had a physical relationship, Mykelti said in 2023 that Meri was “very emotionally and verbally abusive to all of us when we were young.” “I was there,” he explained.

The influencer also said that as her children grew older, the abuse stopped and they were able to tolerate their stepmother’s actions. Mykelti also said she felt she was the one who bore the brunt of Meri’s treatment, a sentiment that was reportedly shared by her siblings.
