Giants’ Eli Manning facing extended wait for Hall of Fame enshrinement

New York Giants legend Eli Manning was taken over to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of qualification and now feels farther from immortality than he was 24 hours ago.

Not only was Manning snubled, he couldn’t break the top ten in the vote.

How ridiculous it may seem, but it’s a sad accusation of what is to come. Manning may have maintained a better chance of ensue in 2025 than he has in 2025 over the next few years.

Manning is the only quarterback of the 2025 finalists, including Drew Brees and Philip Rivers in 2026, Ben Roethlisberger and Cam Newton in 2027, and Tom Brady and Matt Ryan in 2028. Face gusts of QB talent.

Aaron Rodgers will be inducted into the Shoein Hall of Fame five years after his retirement.

And that’s not the situation for Michael Strahan, who is snabbed in his first year and is being enforced in his second year. Manning is now looking down at the road with a long wait.

Ironically, Manning carved out his Hall of Fame career by beating Rogers, Ryan, Brady and others in his biggest game. He has more Super Bowl wins and Super Bowl MVPs than any other contender, and has more postseason success than any of those not named Brady.

However, it doesn’t appear that Manning will be treated by Troy Eikman. Barr was raised for him and he faces more scrutiny and competition than any other Hall of Fame quarterback who came before him.

It may take some time, but Manning will eventually defeat the giant as well. And ultimately, he will find his rightful place in Canton.
