James’ agent Rich Paul of Crucci Sports commented on the injury when he appeared on the Pat McCuffy Show and was willing to schedule a timetable on LeBron and his training staff on the possibility of a return that could be postponed. “I think you have to manage that. Obviously, you have to look at the reports there and pay attention to LeBron regarding his post-game interview. He knows his body better than anyone else. So we have to follow him there. But look, he plays a lot of basketball. All these guys coming out of the Olympics are playing all over our league. So there was a lot of basketball. For older people with this type of injury, you have to manage it properly. Unfortunately, the same thing happened in the ads. A little different, and [LeBron] As soon as he did it he stated that was the second thing he had thought of. So you need to manage it with grace. Clearly, the Lakers are on a tight schedule. I think they play a pretty top-heavy team, including 6 games over 8 nights. It’s tough. See, they do a lot of work, whether he was there or not. But those guys play incredible brands of basketball, and JJ is prepared by those guys. They lost the other night for not being prepared, I didn’t think they were successfully executed on either side of the floor, and although they couldn’t beat the net last night, I don’t think it respects your opponent. This is still in the NBA and anyone can beat you at any time. But you have to treat it with grace. I won’t put the timetable on it, I’ll let LeBron decide what to do there. He has the incredible trainers and medical staff who have the Lakers and Mike Mancias leading it for him. I just lockstep with those guys. ” -via Lakers Nation / March 11, 2025
