It was all fun, laughter, and games for those of us who hunkered down in air-conditioned movie theaters all summer to watch. deadpool & wolverine and laughed at the expense of Disney’s upcoming movies with Wesley Snipes blade reboot. But now, the studio has pulled yet another bait-and-switch, bringing vampire-centric Marvel films to life. Predator: Badlands. Will I ever meet Mahershala Ali? (leave the world behind) Will Snipes take on the role of murderer previously held? And at this point, do we care?
5 years of setbacks
Disney certainly doesn’t seem to care about that. blade The project has been in the works for more than five years at the House of Mouse and Marvel Studios, so it’s a reboot. At the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that the movie would be renewed (just kidding), and there was so much joy and excitement in the air, but now that joy has completely dissipated. Despite these major upsets, the film’s stars, Mahershala Ali and Mia Goth, remained true to the Marvel films and retained their roles as the main protagonist and antagonist, respectively.
Other Marvel projects also delayed
Nearly every title that has come under Marvel’s Phase 5 umbrella has faced setbacks in some way, and Disney isn’t just changing. bladehas been released multiple times, and other projects have done the same thing. Wesley Snipes remains unique
It’s been more than 20 years since Wesley Snipes donned dark sunglasses and sharpened his weapon in his first movie, which was later made into a movie. blade At least for now, it looks like he’s the only guy to keep that nickname forever. At the same time, considering the box office success and cult popularity this film has earned, there is no doubt that Disney and Marvel will go all out and ensure it is a success. blade See the light of day.
