Deshon Elliott is preparing for training camp
A significant part of the safety room following Minka Fitzpatrick’s trade, in 2025 there’s a lot going on Deshon Elliott’s shoulder.
He strives to prepare for that heavy workload.
According to an Instagram video via @doctor_reef, Elliott is ready for training camp and is working in the weight room. The 28-year-old’s safety, a new extension from a three-year extension with the Steelers, has now become an important part of Pittsburgh’s defense.
Rodgers Grills Autograph Hound
Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hit the link this weekend for his annual trip to the Celebrity Golf Championship of the American Century. So Rogers has already unfolded some waves from the game of golf.
According to a video via Sports Illustrated’s Gilberto Manzano, the Rodgers interacted with fans and signed everything from football to Jets and Packers Jerseys to the new Steelers No. 8 Jersey.
While signing the sign for several fans (mostly children) on Friday, Rogers was captured in a video of him interacting with the signing hound. The 41-year-old quarterback burned a hound of signs about football history and said he would sign the sign if he could get the answer right.
The man could not come up with an answer, and Rogers refused to sign, stating, “You can’t fool me!”
Mark Robinson Eyes roster spot
The roster of fourth-year linebacker Mark Robinson was raised in question after the Steelers draft saw special team standout linebacker Carson Bruner in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Bruner is a younger, cheaper, better defensive player, but Robinson doesn’t go quietly.
In a video by Aaron Tank Jones on Twitter, Robinson was working hard this offseason, including his pass-rushing skills. Working with Carolina Panthers rookie Bum Martin Scott, Robinson was working on two steps, turning corners to reach quarterback.
He’s not a pass rusher overall outside of the Blitz, but another tool that Robinson will add to his toolbox this summer to keep his roster.
