6 Min Read

world Dead by Daylight lots of Iconic slasher movie villain From monsters like Michael Myers, Chucky, and Freddy Krueger Stranger ThingsDemogorgon and Xenomorph alien franchise’s killer. However, one obvious killer that is surprisingly absent from the game’s lineup is Count Dracula. The Prince of Darkness seems like the obvious choice for the killer in this game. Dead by Daylight It’s a video game with an unparalleled icon and, of course, a wide range of abilities.

Now, through my beloved Castlevania In the video game series, Count Dracula finally joins the growing roster of killers alongside new survivors and protagonists. Castlevania Video games, Trevor Belmont.

New Killer: The Dark Lord

Dracula needs no introduction: the iconic vampire was a staple of pop culture long before the term “pop culture” was even coined. The Prince of Darkness has appeared in numerous books, films, television shows and video games. He has become an icon of the horror genre. Dead by DaylightIt’s a video game featuring some of the most quintessential killers and monsters of the horror genre.

Dracula is a mid-level killer with incredible abilities that utilize the Prince of Darkness’ ability to transform into multiple creatures.

As mentioned before, the Dark Lord has multiple forms: a human form, a wolf form, and a bat form. In his basic humanoid form, the player can unleash a narrow stream of hellfire on the survivors, making him an excellent pallet counter. In the case of the wolf, the player can charge up a deadly multi-directional lunge attack, meaning that after the first lunge fails, the Dark Lord will lunge once more, allowing the player to change direction and claim him as prey. Similarly, the wolf has a much smaller terror radius, allowing the player to ambush the survivors. The Dark Lord’s bat form gives him the ability to become invisible to survivors and teleport to any window within a certain vicinity. However, he cannot see the player in this form, as the player cannot see you. It is similar to the Spirit’s movement ability.

The Dark Lord, like other Killers and Survivors, has three perks – Hex: Dire Fate, Human Greed, and Domination – which allow him to slow the repair speed of Obsessions, reveal the auras of unopened chests and nearby Survivors, and temporarily block chests and totems.

The Dark Lord’s memento mori (execution of a murderer) is one of my favorites: after he slits the throat of a survivor, he grabs a wine glass he’s hidden somewhere on his person and continues drinking the survivor’s blood.

As with most DLC chapters Dead by Daylight, Chapter 33 introduces a new survivor, Trevor Belmont. Castlevania franchise, vampire hunter Trevor Belmont joins the world Dead by Daylight Defeat evil and help players escape the Entity and its killers.

The Vampire Hunter perks are extremely helpful for survivability, and while they don’t do much to aid in tracking or increase action speed, if used correctly, players can use these three perks to get out of a match without any issues.

The first perk, Exultation, allows you to see the Killer’s aura once a generator is repaired. The second perk, Eyes of Belmont, gives players a chance to heal one health point by opening or searching two chests. Finally, and perhaps the most impressive perk, Moment of Glory, increases the rarity of an item and increases the charges of that item after stunning the Killer with a pallet. You can also enter a match with a yellow med kit and run away with a purple med kit in your inventory – provided you’ve stunned the Killer twice, of course.

Chapter 33: Castlevania “It’s a great DLC. The killer is unique and a lot of fun to play as, and the survivor is uniquely designed so that you’ll want to keep playing as him. Especially Castlevania franchise. Besides, who doesn’t want to play as a vampire hunter?

The Dark Lord is easy to learn even for new players, and his abilities that help players close the distance are a lot of fun to use. If used correctly, his amazing abilities allow for impressive combos that can surprise players and prevent players from making long chases. I mostly played him in his wolf form, which is his most fun, emotive, and versatile form. Additionally, you can also play as a dog.

The perks are pretty impressive, but certainly not the best. My personal favorites are “Human Greed” from the Dark Lord and “Moment of Glory” from Trevor Belmont. Stunning a killer is incredibly satisfying anyway, but the added perk of increasing the rarity of the item makes stunning a killer feel even better.

Dracula and Trevor Belmont are now available for purchase within Chapter 33, “Castlevania.”
