Gabi Hernandez (Shelly Jimenez) tried to get back into EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feueriegel) bed but he rejected her, and EJ was not in a good mood as he was depressed over his divorce decree from Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
He also wondered if Gabi really wanted this, believing she still wanted to marry Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), while Stefan impulsively tried to get Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) back into his bed in revenge.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that on Monday, Gabi will be incredibly grateful to EJ DiMera for saving her. She was in a terrible state after the explosion, but he picked her up in his strong arms and carried her to the hospital.
EJ said the ambulance was too late and Gabi needed immediate medical attention, and without him, Gabi may have died just like crazy Connie wanted. DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera is worried that Stefan will testify against him in the baby abduction case.
So, that’s one of the reasons why he avoids Gabi on Days of Our Lives. Also, spoilers say that Stefan still wants revenge, but recent events may soften his attitude towards his brother. Whether we like it or not, if it weren’t for EJ, Mrs. DiMera might be dead.
Monday’s spoilers have Stefan DiMera at his estranged wife’s bedside. Remember, Connie stabbed him when he was protecting Eva. That’s why Stefan is in the hospital, too. Maybe his wife’s injuries and his brother’s heroic actions will calm him down. We’ll see how it goes.
DOOL Spoilers: Stefan DiMera’s Heroism Might Motivate Ava
DOOL spoilers say Ava is very grateful to Stefan for saving her life. She will tend to his wounds on Monday and is happy that he made it through the ordeal. Remember how angry she was at Stefan last week?
She was furious when he asked Eva out for a sexy sleepover at his mansion. Stefan said it was fine because they both wanted to get back at Gabi. But last week’s Days of Our Lives recap showed she was infuriated by the suggestion that it was just a fling to get back at Stefan’s wife.
Stefan DiMera I saw him fail And he came to apologize. That’s how he caught Connie with Ava and saved her. Remember, Stefan told Ava that his wife was “as good as dead” and that he would never accept her again after she slept with EJ DiMera.
That was before Eva angrily told Stefan to abandon his job and his evening plans and walked out. But will this life-or-death drama change her mind? Will she reconsider rejecting Stefan, since she’s so grateful for his help in saving her? Or is it too late?
Days of Our Lives: Stefan and EJ couple swap?
Days of Our Lives stars EJ and Stefan are at a crossroads. EJ DiMera’s main obstacle to rekindling a relationship with his sister-in-law is fear. EJ doesn’t want to go to jail for keeping quiet about Sloane Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) stealing Nicole’s baby.
Other than that, EJ seems interested in her, and without hesitation he grabs Stefan’s wife and rushes in to save her life, just after his own life is put in danger when a bomb blows up EJ DiMera, but he isn’t seriously injured.
If Stefan withdraws his legal threats, we could see EJ DiMera and Gabi getting cozy, and if Eva sees him again after Stefan DiMera rushes to her rescue, they could end up having sex.
This life-or-death crisis on Days of Our Lives could either bring Gabi and Stefan back together or tear them apart forever. If this couple-swap actually happened, it would make for some really fun drama. Imagine Gabi and EJ conspiring to take down Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and run DiMera together.
Just imagine the drama on DOOL if Gabi moved into EJ’s bedroom and Stefan moved Ava into his own. How chaotic would it be with all four of them living under the same roof, constantly arguing and taking their new relationships out on each other?
