Cabonta Etterpin, the Dallas Cowboys All Pro Kick Returner, was arrested by the Allen (Texas) police station on Saturday and faces two misdemeanor charges, according to online records.

Turpin, 28, has been booked at the Colin County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) and illegal transport of a weapon.

He was released from custody on Sunday after posting a $1,500 bond.

Turpin, who also plays the wide receiver, signed a three-year, $18 million extension with the Cowboys in March.

He led the NFL on average (33.5 yards) in return in his first year of dynamic kickoff and scored one 99 yards for a touchdown against Washington’s manager. His average was the second highest in the league since the merger in 1970. He also had a punt return due to a touchdown and became the only player in the league last season, with kicks and punt returns scoring.

Turpin also became the first cowboy to receive a punt, kickoff and touchdown in one season. He scored a career-high 31 passes and two scores for 420 yards, including 64 yards.
