One was amplified from $100 to $120 (16662): This spherical antenna is not bad and is surprisingly expensive. When I first scanned the channel, I found that almost everything was available, including multiple NextGen channels, providing clear and stable reception. It turns out to be slightly inconsistent with the channel’s Lescan, but the main limitation is its high price.

Antennas to avoid

Mohu Vibe was amplified for $50: I had bad luck with more stylish pads and wand style antennas, but this rather expensive model from Mohu is no exception. It’s consistent with testing on multiple TVs, dropping major channels like my local CBS, NBC, PBS affiliates and other, and removing less used channels.

Mohu Versa is $30: I wanted to like the stylish and simple balasa. This is one of the few antennas these days that do not include an optional amplifier. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst because it pulls the channel. This includes some that are listed by television scanned and listed, but not shown.

Clearstream Flex Amplification

Clearstream Flex was amplified for $60: This large antenna struggled with channel reliability in scanning, even after multiple rescans. It was one of the few models we tested and along with a few other channel bands, we were unable to pick up local ABC affiliates.

$50 to $60 for the Ultimate Antenna of All Suburban (14426): This light black bar has a stylish look, but it was one of the most consistent models we tested. We repeatedly pulled out fewer channels than similar models, excluding wide channel bands that include major station affiliates.

One for all suburban ultimate (14450)

$30 for all suburban Ultimate (14450): From another rather stylish and unique model, this antenna was a bit junky in its setup (particularly the legs of the stand) and I struggled to bring in multiple channels with major affiliates than the top antennas I tested.
