Some of you may have seen it A little video I shared on Saturday Exciting news…we are expecting our third child in September!
The response was very sweet and gentle. Beyond I’m touched by so many beautiful things you’ve shared. Christian and I are one of three children (he’s the middle one and I’m the youngest) and I think we always had a little bit of room left for one more child.
My boys will be 2 1/2 and 4 (almost 5!) when their little brother is born, so it’s a situation I can’t control, but I sincerely hope that it will keep me busy for a few years and then being close in age will pay off as they grow up.
My brother and sister and I are two years apart, which has created some very fond childhood memories and strong bonds that have grown into our adult lives. We tend to go through different stages of life at roughly the same time, which has fostered a unique and special friendship. I’m sure it was exhausting for our parents when we were little, but I’m grateful they did that for us.
We are so grateful that the Lord has entrusted us with another Burns baby. After months of terrible fatigue and nausea, I am really starting to feel a lot better. I’m almost halfway there. I may not feel as good as I did with Hudson, but I feel better than I did with Theo. So, I’m open to this!
Thank you so much for experiencing this precious milestone in your life with us. Words cannot express how much you have supported and loved us through all the ups and downs of life. I have also realized that many of you have been through similar things. It is very interesting and wonderful and I am filled with gratitude.
