This year’s VB There are finalists in the innovation showcase VB conversionJune 24th-25th, San Francisco. They go on stage as we dig into what we actually work at Enterprise AI. From copilots to agents.

Seven companies have been selected to showcase generative AI products or features that are most likely to disrupt the enterprise.

Those chosen to present do so in front of only 600 industry decision makers invited audiences and receive feedback directly from a panel of VC judges.

The 2025 Innovation Showcase Finalists are:

CTGT

Founded in 2024 by a team from Stanford University and the University of California, researchers from San Diego and a San Francisco-based team. CTGT An AI risk management platform designed to change the way companies deploy generated AI. Unlike traditional AI pipelines that require regular offline updates, CTGT’s platform allows continuous real-time monitoring and automated purification of models in production, allowing AI systems to learn and adapt within live environments without going offline. This means that models can improve on the fly, filling the gap between development and deployment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability for mission-critical AI applications.

The company grew Seed 7.2 million rounds February.

Catio

Based in Palo Alto Catio An AI-powered platform designed to help businesses optimize their high-tech stack architecture. The platform is a co-pilot for technical leaders and teams, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for assessing, planning and evolving technology infrastructure. Catio tackles these challenges by continuing architectural design, strategic technology stack planning, accurate architecture analysis and evaluation, and providing personalized recommendations tailored to the unique needs of each company.

In March, Catio announced $3 million With additional funds. This is in addition to the $4 million raised between 2023 and 2024.

Spider

Mountain View Base Spider Eye It focuses specifically on the democratization of AI in the field of predictive analytics. It utilizes cutting-edge graph neural networks (GNNS) and relational deep learning (RDL). They aim to enable businesses to directly build and deploy highly accurate machine learning models from relational data.

Kumo raised $37 million in funding in two rounds. Their latest round was a $18 million Series B September 2022.

solo.io

Cambridge Base, Massachusetts solo.io A cloud-native application networking company that provides solutions for connecting, protecting and observing modern applications, especially applications built on Kubernetes and Microservices. Founded in 2017, Solo.io aims to simplify the complexity of application networks in dynamic, multi-cloud environments.

The $135 million Series C funding round in 2021 brought the company’s total funding to $175 million. The company is valued at $1 billion.

superduper.io

Tel Aviv Base superduper.io AI companies focus on simplifying the integration of AI models and workflows within existing databases, eliminating the need for complex data pipelines and separate AI infrastructures. Their core product is a Python-based open source framework that allows businesses to build and deploy custom AI applications and agents directly into their data.

SuperDuper.io raised $1.75 million Two seed funding rounds. Notable investors include Hetz Ventures, Session.VC and Mongodb. It was also part of the Intel Ignite Accelerator program.

Satro

Based in Auckland Satro It is an AI-powered, no-code platform that allows users to create fully production-ready mobile and web applications by simply explaining their ideas in simple text. It aims to democratize software development and make it accessible to individuals and businesses without having to code their expertise.

Sutro was founded and raised in 2021 $6 million Over two early funding rounds, 2023-2024.

qdrant

Based in Berlin qdrant is a high-performance, large-scale vector database and vector search engine designed for next-generation AI applications. It incorporates Rust, a language known for its safety and performance, making it a reliable option for demanding AI workloads.

Founded in 2020, QDRANT raised $37.8 million with three funds. The latest was the $28 million Series A in January 2024.

Emily Zhao, Principal of Salesforce Ventures

Zhao is the principal Salesforce Ventures It focuses on AI/ML. She also spends her time on developers’ touring, cybersecurity, vertical SAAS, and health technology. She joined Salesforce Ventures in the spring of 2022 and recently helped launch a $500 million generation AI fund. She has led several investments in the fund, including Face, Runwayml, Humanity, and Colles.

Before joining Salesforce Ventures, Zhao was an investor at Avenir Growth Capital, a New York-based venture growth fund. Before Avenir, Emily was an associate of Blackstone’s private equity group and invested in the company’s acquisition deal.

Matt Kraning, partner at Menlo Ventures

Kraning is one of them MenloThe latest partner. He focuses on investing in AI, Enterprise Cers, national defense and cybersecurity.

He is a highly technical former founder and a proven company builder with a PhD degree. Electrical engineering specializes in AI and large-scale computing. Before Menlo, Kraning was the co-founder and CTO of Expanse, helping to define AI-driven attack surface management categories. He also advises and invests over 50 startups, including unicorns such as Peregrine and Astranis, and recently led a $12 million round at WISPR Flow.

Rebecca LeeInvestment Director at Amex Ventures

Li is the investment director of Amex Ventures. She joined in 2024 to focus on enterprise software investments and make early stage investments in infrastructure software, developer tools, data and AI.

Prior to joining American Express, Li led Fintech and Software Venture Investments at Global Asset Capital. Her previous experiences include business development and partnerships at Credit Karma and Technology Private Equity Investing.

All pitches will occur on June 25th between 4:45pm and 5:30pm. On the main stage For face-to-face attendees.

Presenters will receive three minutes on the pitch and two minutes of feedback from the judges. The awards will be announced in three categories: 1) the most likely to succeed, 2) the coolest technology, 3) the best presentation style.
