Allie Lubar broke the silence.
On Dec. 14, the Vanderpump Rules star posted a statement on her Instagram Stories, thanking her followers for their support and updating them on what’s been going on.
…after her boyfriend James Kennedy was arrested on domestic violence charges.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and to everyone who has checked on me,” Lubar wrote, adding on her account:
“I’m doing okay and taking the time I need now. I deeply appreciate everyone’s kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
Earlier, a Burbank Police Department spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to Mr. Kennedy’s home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Dec. 10, “in regards to an altercation between a man and a woman.”
It has since been widely believed that the woman at the center of this case is Allie Lubar.
To be clear, Authorities have not said whether the woman involved is Mr. Lubar..
However, as a result of the investigation, it was determined that the incident occurred domestically. [Kennedy’s] Arrested. ”
DJ was “arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence and later posted bail. Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office.”
Officials said Kennedy is accused of grabbing a woman during an argument.
According to TMZ, officers who responded to the scene found no obvious injuries on the victim, but Kennedy was released on $20,000 bail.
He and Reuver started dating in 2022, and Reuver soon joined Vanderpump Rules as a cast member.
Earlier this year, Lubar denied speculation that Kennedy was physically abusive during their relationship, most notably in a car after the MTV Movie Awards two years ago.
“That never happened. There was no physical altercation,” Lubar told Scheana Shay on her podcast in February.
Meanwhile, Kristen Doute dated Kennedy from 2013 to 2015.
She shared an article detailing the incident on her Instagram Stories on Dec. 12, and simply wrote, “Finally.”
Meanwhile, Kennedy’s attorney released the following statement last Friday:
We are conducting our own investigation into the charges brought against James by the Burbank Police Department.
We understand that there were no injuries and, after careful consideration, we hope that the city attorney will decide not to file formal charges.
