Having won and defended his European title in record time, Azim puts his unbeaten record (11-0, 8 KOs) on the line against Davis (25-3, 18 KOs) looking to continue his illustrious career trajectory and prove he’s ready to take on the biggest names in the division.

Davies, a former British and Commonwealth champion, returns to the ring with something to prove after his failed bid for the WBA interim super lightweight crown earned him the opportunity to return to world title contention.

Azim has 11 professional fights under his belt, eight of which he won by knockout, and is already the European super lightweight champion.

The 22-year-old hopes to become a 140-pound world champion in the next few years, but first he needs to beat Davis, who is 10 years older and hoping to halt the momentum of his opponent’s career.

“I’m excited for this fight. I like Adam Azim, I’ve known him since he was very young and it’s great to see him have had such success in boxing,” Davis said.

O’Hara Davis is the next opponent for rising star Adam Azim and is known for his extremely hard striking.

“I’ve been rooting for him since his amateur days and have always looked up to him, but he’s not a kid anymore. He’s grown into a man with great potential. That’s why it’s disappointing to have to hand him his first defeat.”

Adam Azim was defending his European title when he dislocated his shoulder in the fifth round, causing Enock Poulsen to collapse in pain.
