I love the huge freckin robots these 90s. I also love science fiction and binging TV shows.

So we decided to gather gangs and choose a sci-fi television show that still has magic 30 years from now.

These are 90’s sci-fi series that are still worth checking out.

X-Files

One of the biggest phenomena of the 90s X-Files It’s been revived and rebooted, but the original run of the show still deserves to be discovered by new fans.

The series will become known for its more epic alien plot, but fans will come to love the singular adventures of FBI special agents Mulder and Scully.

Yes, the alien plot will collapse with the weight of its own story, but how great it is X-Files When it’s working at its best, it’s often the case.

There are plenty of episodes to scratch all the supernatural and sci-fi itch you can dream of, it’s still worth believing X-Files.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Next Generation It may be a more beloved series, but Star Trek hit the storytelling Pinnacle Deep Space Nine.

Exchange the franchise’s regular exploratory spacecraft with orbital space stations; Deep Space Nine It centers around the planet’s Badger as it recovers from the brutal fascist occupation by the planet Cardasia.

Station commander Benjamin Cisco reluctantly takes the job as the federal administrator of the former Kardashian post base that circles Bajor.

When a stable wormhole is discovered just outside the Bajoran space, it launches a series that is deeper and darker than previous Star Trek films and TV series.

At the time, this didn’t sit well with many fans. Star Trek A utopian idea from creator Jean Roddenberry.

The series was controversial and difficult to accept during its first run on television.

But the time was overly kind Deep Space Nine.

Thanks to morally complicated characters and challenging storytelling – the most impressive is the seasonal Dominion War Arc – Deep Space Nine Now, we are grateful to a new generation of fans.

There is no doubt in our hearts Deep Space Nine It’s not a great 90’s science fiction series. The best Star Trek series ever. If it’s not worth seeing, what would you do?

slider

Before Marvel claimed the multiverse, this cult television show captured the eccentric fun of an alternative universe

For our money, slider It’s gotten even better.

slider It is about the scientific wonders that build the technology that allows him and his friends to visit parallel Earths with a completely different reality from themselves.

But they slide from world to world and get stuck perfectly Quantum Leap Style hopes that the next jump (er, slide) is something that will take them home.

Performance of slider is first class (particularly the series’ Lead Jerry O’Connell), but the highlight of the show is its flying concept.

All episodes can be played with “what if?” sci-fi scenarios, and you can see how much fun the series is when you watch it.

From deep alternative histories to the adorable Schlock, these episodes have a bit of it all.

If you like storytelling surprises, you’ll certainly love it slideranything can (and often happens).

Cowboy Bebop

When it comes to the greatest anime series of all time, it’s hard to find Cowboy Bebop Outside of that conversation.

This iconic animated series is about two admirers, Spike Spiegel and his partner Jet Black, who take on almost every job, if the prices are correct.

But their wallets are threatened by ghosts from the past and a new crew who are as fun and confused as the bad guys they’ve cleaned up.

It is impossible to choose the best part of Cowboy Bebopbut the gun to our head, we have to go with the music.

Courtesy of Yoko Kano, the series crank out one after another jazzy riffs, creating perhaps the best animated soundtrack ever. Is that really controversial?

If you get to the stars on killer animations, colorful characters, wild adventures, and bebop, you’ll do it all.

Later, another space cowboy.

Stargate SG-1

No one would have guessed 1994 Stargate It will create one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in television, thanks to the success of Stargate SG-1 Just three years later, that’s exactly what happened.

Following the soldiers and scientists of Stargate Command, the series has gone far beyond the film to create an entire universe filled with ancient mysteries, fighting civilizations and legends.

Though not as famous as the crew of Starship Enterprises, all of the characters are someone’s favorites, all of which are given sparkling episodes, from the “window of opportunity” to the fun “100”.

In a fair world, Stargate SG-1 It’s probably as famous and loved as Star Trek and Star Wars. Instead, it needs to be resolved to be one of the best sci-fi shows of all time.

Babylon 5

For sci-fi fans, it didn’t look like anything. Babylon 5even if it seems to share a space station-centric story with the best Star Trek series.

Babylon 5’s space station is at the heart of intergalactic politics and is filled with great characters that highlight the show as political plot, physics-based spacecraft and even today the best in science fiction.

Londo, Sheridan, Neroon, Delenn and many others show how great Babylon 5 is that it focuses on well-developed characters without sacrificing larger sci-fi/action images.

Babylon 5 It tells the complete story from start to finish, and even the weakest episodes still have important scenes and plot beats that drive the story forward.

Take a look at it yourself and decide whether to attend a camp that feels like Babylon 5 is the top 90s sci-fi space station series.

Space: More

For the bright season, Space: More It brought military science fiction to television by making it dirty and rough, and showing how combat can change forever even the strongest soldiers.

The wildcard squadron, which originally acts as the Earth’s rear guard, finds himself fighting on the forefront of a war with insect-style chigs.

Other 90’s series include Open Warfare and Space: More.

He also challenged authority by showing how far the good guys would go to win the war.

Underrated and overlooked, Space: More We were not given time to find an audience.

If you want a sci-fi in an age of slightly different, a little darker, and a little more thought-provoking, then this is a forgotten series for you.

Firscape

Galaxy Guardians I owed debt to this off-kilter science fiction series from the late 90s. Check if this sounds familiar.

The strange, misfit crew who don’t like each other must cooperate to survive at the edge of the galaxy.

And there’s only one person who happens to be particularly important, as secrets are trapped in his head.

Hmm.

surely, Firscape It takes time to take the season, but by the time Time Season 2 rolls out, it is trying to get both the leather sociopath Scorpius and the peacekeepers a step ahead, it’s a bonker roller coaster with the crew of the aged ship Moya.

Firscape When it comes to the Rooney plot, it certainly kicks out Star Trek, but it requires other big creative swings worth celebrating.

For example, the decision to use the Jim Henson workshop to create a puppet as a focus character throughout the show.

Firscape It’s very strange. You won’t click for everyone.

But if you’re a sci-fi fan who enjoys dark comedy and welcoming absurdity in your space show, we can’t recommend it enough.

Futurama

How adult animation humor The Simpsons Can you beautifully intersect with the Philip K. Dick style world building in the comedy series? After that, you don’t need to look anymore Futurama.

Futurama It centers around Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy who wakes up for a thousand years in the future after accidentally locking himself in an extreme pod.

In his 3,000th year he won a new job working for Planet Express, an intergalactic delivery company owned by an elderly mad scientist and located with the Cyclops captain.

The series goes hard with its brand’s absurd comedy and uses the proven science fee ratios as a means of its intelligent sense of humor.

Mind swap, intentionally complex time loops, parallel universe trickery, horrifying alien overlords in Omicron Persei 8, Futurama’s World Building and space technology are fantastic, interesting and heart-filled.

The equal parts are intelligent and ridiculous, Futurama Not just top-notch sci-fi comedies, they’re some of the best sci-fi televisions.

Nightman

If you’ve ever thought about committing a crime near a jazz club, Nightman The wake-up call you need is because the guy ripping the saxophone every day is blowing up the bad guy after a few hours.

When jazz musician Johnny Domino is struck by lightning, he develops his innate ability to hear evil thoughts that keep him awake at night.

Johnny, who wears a bulletproof bodysuit and calls the man of the night, doesn’t necessarily have any other powers, but his new threads allow him to see in the dark as he ignores the laws of gravity, camouflages himself with holographic technology, and fires lasers at the fighter occupying the average streets of San Francisco.

Celebrated with low budget charm and commitment to bits, Nightman He plays like a bargain Bimbatman with plenty of smooth jazz to set the mood, but retains his own thanks to the physicality and charisma that Matt McComb brings to his characters.

Cheap and sincere, tasty enough to keep your ears healthy through that run, Nightman A must-see for sci-fi fans looking for something a little centre without skipping the action.

I want to ask if Macs have seen this before, and it’s always sunny in Philadelphia people.

Spooky Indiana

Want to book a one-way trip to the strangest community you’ll ever visit?

Then it’s time for you to travel Indiana, creepysomething like a hypnotically strange series X-Files For grown children Goose bump and Are you afraid of the darkness?

As teenager Marshall Terror travels with his family to a small Indiana town, he finds that the housewife of Tupperware Sling is occupying a creepy valley that attracts the code immortal.

Indiana, creepy Stepping on the line between the creepy and Campy, its storytelling is clever enough to stick to you for days without putting too much weight on your conscience.

If you are looking for healthy fears that aren’t changing lives much for your kids, it is fun for the whole family.
