I’m sharing one of my favorite super popular recipes, a 4 ingredient guacamole recipe.
Hey everyone! How’s your morning going so far? A quick trip to the girls’ school, a ballet class, then my annual dermatologist appointment. I suggest getting a skin check! (This is going to be a weird turn of events where I reference Austin Powers guacamole, but I’ll hold off for now.)
Let me tell you about one of the best appetizers ever.
Guacamole is one of those foods that instantly makes any get-together fun. It’s the ultimate dip that everyone loves, and the best part is that it can be made in no time with just a handful of ingredients. Whether you’re hosting a party, spending time with family, or just want a quick snack, guacamole is always perfect. Today, I’m sharing a super simple and delicious 4-ingredient guacamole recipe that’s sure to become your new go-to.
I love guacamole because it’s the perfect blend of creamy, tangy, and fresh, plus it’s packed with healthy fats from avocado, so it’s always satisfying (let’s just ignore the 140,000 tortilla chips that come with it!).
This recipe is simple yet packed with flavor. It requires only 4 ingredients and is ready in under 10 minutes. Here’s a super easy guacamole recipe that’s perfect for any occasion.
4-ingredient guacamole recipe
Sometimes less is more, and this simple four-ingredient guacamole recipe proves it. It’s all about letting the natural flavors shine. A creamy avocado base with lemon juice, fresh pico de gallo, and a dash of cilantro results in a guacamole that’s bright, refreshing, and totally delicious.
What I love about this recipe is how quick it is to make. Seriously, you spend more time eating it than you do making it, which for me makes it the best recipe ever. Whether you’re preparing for a party, making a quick snack for yourself, or just looking to spice up your meal, this guacamole is always a hit.
I also have a regular homemade guacamole recipe here, but this is my go-to when I’m short on time or making a large batch – it’s so much quicker and easier.

2 ripe avocados (or even quicker: buy a container of Costco’s organic mashed avocados)
Juice of half or a whole lemon (depending on how spicy you like it)
Pico de Gallo Salsa – Serve as you like
chopped coriander
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the avocado
First, cut the avocado in half and remove the seed. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired consistency, whether you want it coarse or smooth. For a smoother texture, you can use a potato masher.
Step 2: Add lemon juice
Add fresh lemon juice to the mashed avocado. Not only does it add flavor, it also helps keep the guacamole from browning. Stir until well combined.
Step 3: Mix the pico de gallo
Stir in pico de gallo: The mix of tomatoes, cilantro, onion and spices in pico de gallo gives guacamole a fresh, vibrant flavor that’s sure to make you want to eat more.
Step 4: Stir in the coriander
Finally, add the chopped cilantro and mix well. Cilantro gives the guacamole a unique herby flavor that makes it so delicious. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. You can also add a pinch of kosher salt if you like. I sometimes add a little hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce (<— secret ingredient!)
Step 5: Serve and enjoy
Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap to keep it fresh, and pat the plastic wrap down to prevent air from touching the guacamole. This will help prevent the guacamole from browning. Serve with your favorite dippers and voila! A super easy guacamole recipe that’s sure to please everyone.
This homemade guacamole is perfect when you need a quick and healthy snack or crowd-pleasing appetizer. The best part is that it’s so simple, you can easily adjust it to suit your tastes. Whether you want your guacamole to be extra lemony, loaded with cilantro, or a little tangier, this recipe is the perfect base.
If you’re craving something sweet after all that savory stuff, try our Avocado Chocolate Pie – a rich and decadent dessert with a beautiful avocado texture. Or, if you’re looking for another party favorite, our dairy-free Buffalo Chicken Dip is a big hit.
However you enjoy it, we think you’ll love it as much as we do!
